This course is a hands-on lab-based course introducing basic computer concepts and applications used in business, industry and education. Upon successful completion, a general understanding of computers will be attained. Students completing the course will have a proficiency in the operation of Microsoft Office XP. Students may also expect to gain a competency in use of the Internet and other related topics regarding the current use of computers.
